Formed in a Padanaram basement in late 2005, two groups of friends merged and began creating a pop/punk sound that won't be found amongst any other of their local contemporaries. From the catchy guitar to the upbeat drum beats to the anthemic sing-alongs, Half Hearted Hero is creating great music enjoyed by everyone who listens to them, especially at shows in the greater New Bedford, Massachusetts area, where their performances meld high-energy playing with familiar sing-alongs. Since its conception the five-piece pop/punk band has gone through some line-up changes and now consists of Anthony Savino, Clinton Lisboa, Ian Legge, Meyer Brown and A.J. Mills. The group came out with a four-song demo in 2006 to much local acclaim and praise.

Their newest release, a seven-song EP simply titled 'Home', was released on 29 September 2007 in New Bedford, MA. The EP's first pressing sold out in one week. The band is currently writing and recording new songs for an upcoming release expected to come out late summer 2008.
